Aviators Flight Center Repair Station
Aviators Flight Center LLC is authorized and certified by the FAA as one of it's select Part 145 Repair Stations. The Repair Station is approved to mantain Cessna, Cirrus, Piper, Diamond, Grumman, Beechcraft and Mooney aircraft.
Did you know maintenance shops can operate under two sets of rules? Under Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 91, a maintenance shop is operated under the direction of the mechanic. While there are many good mechanics and all mechanics are supposed to use current data and calibrated tooling, there's no guarantee. Part 91 shops have very little interaction with the FAA, have no required shop inspections and aren't required to maintain your maintenance records.
FAR Part 145 Repair station rules are quite different. As a Part 145 Repair Station, we have oversight directly from the FAA with our assigned Principal Maintenance Inspector (PMI). Our PMI reviews and inspects our maintenance department, checks to see that we are using the most current maintenance data and that all our tools are calibrated for accuracy insuring a high standard of maintenance performance. As a FAA approved maintenance facility, Repair Station's are held to higher standards than the typical Part 91 maintenance shop and must maintain your records for 2 years.
Designation as a Part 145 repair station provides significant benefits to customers. You do not need to be concerned about the tooling and data to properly maintain your aircraft as we allow our facility to be open to government inspection and oversight. A Part 145 repair station must comply with the highest levels of conduct, documentation, continuous training of staff and credentials.
The FAA Repair Station Part 145 rules demand that the facilities are kept in an orderly and high functioning manner, employees are continually trained and operating at peak levels. Additionally all incoming parts are thoroughly inspected and documentation checked for certification prior to installation in any aircraft.
We service Aviators Flight Academy LLC's fleet and There by Air Charter's fleet with progressive inspections every 50 hours of flight time.
